About Me

Originally from the south of England, there are many good carp waters in the area but you just have to find them. Before I moved to Holland I was fishing Farnham Angling Society's waters which for the money gave you the opportunity to catch some decent sized carp, however its now becoming very popular which makes it hard to fish at most of their lakes on the weekends. The best time I think to go is during the week because then the waters are not so pressured.

Recently moving away from the UK I am now in search of some big dutch carp, I have seen photos and videos of these monsters and would love to have one myself but at the moment I am researching where to go. I have been thinking about fishing the Dutch canals because I've heard of big wild carp coming out. The fish in these waters have probably never seen a hook! As soon as I have my rods in the water and catching fish, I will be updating the website with the techniques I have been using, bait and where I have been fishing. And of course the pictures.
